The Gingerbread Man

 once upon a time, an old woman baked a gingerbread  man. She put it on a plate to cool.Then, the gingerbread man run away from the house. the gingerbread man run and run away from many animals. But he met a fox along the river.
"I want to help you get across this river. hop on my shoulder! I promise you will not get wet."said the fox.
 And the gingerbread man did. And the fox eat the gingerbread man! That was the end of the poor gingerbread man.

 I read this book "The gingerbread man" in Scholastic. This is easy reading. And this is really short story. I thought I've read this book before, but it was not in this series.
