The Lost World

"I've heard that a couple of years ago, a company called InGen found a way to make dinosaurs from cells taken from dinosaur bones. They put them on an island in Costa Rica, but something went wrong. A lot of people were killed, and all the dinosaurs died. And now nobody will talk about it."

"And you believe that?" Malcom said.

"Not at first I didn't, but the thing is, I keep hearing it. Is it true?" (p. 5)

Six years ago, the dinosaurs were destroyed and Jurassic Park was closed. But now people are finding dead animals again. In this story, Mathematician Ian Malcolm and dinosaur- enthusiast Richard Levin are researching a mystery of one company. Rumor has it that there is an island called Site B, and it is a secret production factory for Jurassic Park where dinosaur stocks are hatched and grown before shipment to Jurassic Park. Levin first identified the location of Site B and headed alone. After that, Malcolm also went to the island to rescue Levin. However, various problems were waiting for them. Two students are hiding in the vehicle which Malcolm used on the way to the island. It means that he got a new task to bring them back safely at the same time. A group aiming for dinosaur eggs appears. In addition to this, they are attacked by dinosaurs. In the end, the last survivors board a boat to return from the island. What will happen to dinosaurs...?

I've seen the movie, but I don't remember much about it. However, it was an unfamiliar story, so I think it is probably different from the content of the movie. There are a lot of proper nouns in this book, so I was confused and read the same part several times.
