HENRY AND MUDGE
In this first book in the series, Henry learns he is allowed to get a dog. He did't have any friends and brothers. He is always alone. He researches for just the right dog until he finds Mudge. Mudge is a small puppy but then he grows and grows until he weighs one hundred eighty pounds! And Henry and Mudge become the very best of friends.
I read Henry and Mudge the first book, a book in ready to read book level 3.This is written by Cynthia Rylant. There are cute pics in this book. He has no brothers and friends. But he met the dog, Mudge. They became be important for each other. I thought Mudge is like a brother for Henry. I was touched. And it's easy to read.
