If you want to gather honey, don't kick over the beehive

"Bitter criticism caused the sensitive Thomas Hardy, one of the finest novelist ever to enrich English literature, to give up forever the writing of fiction. Criticism drove Thomas Chatterton, the English poet, to suicide.(p13)"
This is one of the fact in the past. If he was not so weak, could he live longer? Nobody knows the answer but I know criticism never provide any profits to them. There are several examples which actually happened before and support the idea of the theme so we can say that these are kind of lessons from someone in the past.
The other example, there was a dangerous criminal who shot the gun to police because the police suspect him on the street and after he killed the police, he ran into ex-girl friend's house. The house was surrounded by many police soon and began terribly shooting between police and the man. After that, he was arrested. Every time somebody blame him, he  answered there was no choice. He hid something what he didn't want anybody to see so he had just pulled the trigger the gun he had.
After the example, there is one story of a man who is a great pilot. While the testing flight, the airplane stopped moving. Fortunately, they all was saved. After the accident, he saw the mechanic. He came to apologize and he was crying. However the man never blamed him and said that he believed the mechanic will never make the same mistake so he will ask the mechanic to perform maintenance again.
To put this part simply and use words from this book,"Don't criticize, condemn or complain."
I'd like to quote some lessons to keep in mind.
"As much as we thirst for approval, we dread condemnation."-Hans Selye
"I will speak ill of no man and speak all the good I know of everybody"- Benjamin Franklin
I've never read these kinds of books before so there are some difficult words but it is really interesting for me. I think we can look at ourself objectively. This book gives us the opportunity to think about ourself.Image result for how to win friends and influence people
